Chrome-moly flanges contain chromium and molybdenum alloying elements that provide superior creep resistance and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, typically above 750 degrees F.
F11 (1-1/4 Cr - 1/2 Mo) is rated for service up to approximately 1050 degrees F, while F22 (2-1/4 Cr - 1 Mo) handles temperatures up to 1100 degrees F with better long-term creep properties.
